Enjoy a quiet, peaceful, gentle, and relaxing 2-hour workshop with other adults as Sekoiaa shares some simple and enjoyable ways that will motivate and inspire you to journal – exploring, discovering, reflecting, and awakening to your life as the blessing it truly is. Join Sekoiaa Wednesday, January 20th from 6:30 to 8:30PM at Play Cafe in Peterborough. Cost is $20 per person. Meditation refers to a wide variety of practices that include techniques designed to promote relaxation, build life force, and develop awareness, mindfulness, compassion, love, patience, generosity, and forgiveness. Meditation calms and directs awareness inward.

Through discussion, storytelling, video, the sharing of information, guided meditations, silent meditation, interactive play, plus much more…we have been exploring, learning, discovering, and practicing meditation methods that are helping us to develop a more effective mindfulness practice, as well as a deeper awareness and concentration in our everyday lives.

Our small group meets every second Wednesday evening from 7-8pm at a downtown Peterborough location. The cost is $7 per evening.

Art by the River Show & Sale

Sekoiaa is pleased to be one of twelve participating artist in the Art By the River Show and Sale taking place Saturday September 26th and Sunday September 27th from 10:00AM to 4:00PM a 638 Chester Street in Peterborough. Take a leisurely stroll through the art displays, see live demos by artists, and enjoy refreshments. Purchases may be made by cash or cheque and proceeds go to Hospice Peterborough. Help out a great cause!
